Assistant Director (AD)

All productions are expected to have an Assistant.
The role may be organisational/administrative or share artistic duties.
Training: some directors take on novice ADs and teach throughout the process.
Be upfront about the type of AD you want so we can suggest suitable names; earlier involvement is better.
New Directors: Normally a minimum of two successful training assists before being considered to direct, unless a new member has a proven, verified track record elsewhere (we still expect at least one assist to learn our processes).

Decide if you want a rehearsal prompt and find someone to do it (Prod. Comm. can suggest names).
