Appendix 2 - Director’s Feedback Guidance

After each production, directors provide feedback to Prod. Comm. (approx 15 minutes), followed by SM feedback.

The Company

Actors

• Who performed particularly well; strengths; any problems.
• New/unexpected talent; who is ready to be pushed on and how.
• Notes future directors should know (ensemble work, etc.).

Technical & Production Teams

• Similar notes as for actors.
• Assistant Director: what they did; how hands-on; readiness to direct.

General

• Budget
• Any concerns/problems
• Strengths/highlights
• Anything else to add or ask
